 Description
In the first part of the course, we will help you to create a word document. At the end of the course you will find a website that can help you further. In the second part of the course we will help you to create an excel spreadsheet. At the end of the course you will find a website that can help you further. In the third part of the course we will help you to create a Power Point Presentation. At the end of the course you will find a website that can help you further.

Unit 1 - Word


  Objectives

You can learn how to edit the content of the word document.
The following functions will be reviewed: 
  • font types
  • font sizes
  • colouring and effects
  • mapping and planning the physical settings of the content
  • Insertion.

 



  How to open a new word document?

Click the Word button in Start menu (left bottom corner).
Select new blank document. The new document dialog box appears.
You can start work where the cursor appears.


  Use access toolbar: layout and tabs

Before or after typing you can shape the letters bold, colored, tilted, or even underlined.

 

You can select the font type and size.

 

You can place the text/picture left, middle, right or justified position.

 

You can list the content in different ways.

 

You can define the lines-pace.

 

You can highlight the text with colouring.



  Deleting

You can delete with the Delete button or the Backspace button/Leftwards arrow on the keyboard.

 



  Copying pictures and texts

You can insert image into the document by pressing the Ctrl and C button simulaneously to copy and pressing the Ctrl and V button simulaneously to insert.
To move the image: grab the picture by holding down the left mouse button.
To resize: pessing the left button of the mouse and grab any corners of the image.


  How to save your document?

Click to File on the tab of the layout and choose Save option. In the window that appears, you can choose where to save the document.

  How to print your document?

Select Print from the File tab to print.

Unit 2 - Excel


  Objectives

You can learn how to edit the content of the Excel spreadsheets.
The following functions will be reviewed:
  •  mapping and planning the physical settings of the content;
  • simple arithmetical calculation formulas (summarizing) etc.

 



  How to open a new excel document?

Click the Excel button in Start menu (left bottom corner).
Select new blank spreadsheet. The new spreadsheet dialog box appears.
You should click/select the cell you want to work with.


  



  Deleting

You can delete with the Delete button or the Backspace button/Leftwards arrow on the keyboard.

 



  How to save your spreadsheet?

Click to File on the tab of the layout and choose Save option. In the window that appears, you can choose where to save the spreadsheet.

Click the Power Point button in Start menu.
Select New. The New Power Point box appears.
Select Blank Power Point .
You can work where the cursor appears.
