Creating an E-mail AccountClick to read 
Step 1: Click on the Start Button & click on the Internet Explorer.
Step 2: Navigate to the Google Website.
Step 3: Click on the Gmail link in Google Gmail
The Gmail screen opens & offers two options:

Click on Create an Account at the top right of the screen

Open Google & then click on Gmail.

Complete all sections & click on Next Step.

Click on I Accept button to create your Account Once you create an account, you’ll be able to start Sending messages to your family & Friends Already using Gmail.
Note: When you successfully create your account, the following screen appears.
Type your email address & password & click on Sign In.
You are now logged into Gmail.
Log in and out of Gmail until you are familiar with this skill.
Composing an E-mailClick to read 
In this exercise you will create & send an email, receive an email & reply to the received email.
The message is typed in the large white boksz.

3.Type your own email address in the ’ To box ’
4.Type Practice 1 in the ’ subject box ’
5. Type any message in the ’ message box’
6. Click on Send at the top of the email.
Note: There should be an email is your Sent Mail
box and as you sent out to yourself it should be in the Inbox.
7. Click on the sent Mail box, the email should be visible
8. Click on Inbox to return to the Inbox
9. Click on Compose to create another email, enter the following details:
Address: benefitgrant@gmail.com
Subject: Practice 2
Message: Hi Tom This is my second email.
Regards
Your Name
10. Click on Send and then click on Sent Mail

10. Click on Send and then click on Sent Mail
10. Click on Send and then click on Sent Mail Note: The second email should now be visible.
11. Send emails to other people in the class, the instructor will organise a list of the email addresses. Note: When you receive an email, it is possible to reply to the email without having to type the persons address, when you click on reply a window opens with the address already entered. Their email to you is also visible at the end of the new email. You will now reply to an email.
Click on Inbox and click on any email therein.
12. Click on Reply at the end of the email.
13. Type a reply to the original email as show below and click on Send to send the email.
Note: Check the Sent Mail box to ensure the email has been sent, (if an email is not in the Sent Mail box then it has not been sent correctly)
Note: In time your emails will build up in both the Inbox and the Sent Mail box, it is good practice to delete unwanted emails from time to time.
14. Click on the Inbox and tick the box to the left of any one of the emails as shown below.
15. Click on the Delete icon as shown above.
16. Click on More on the left of the screen.
18. Practicing sending, receiving and deleting emails until you become comfortable with this skill.
